Пропагандируйте, продвигайте.
Анти-пропаганда, как Вы знаете, в которую закачивают миллиарды долларов, 
утверждает,
что СО2 - пища для растений, и его должно быть в атмосфере много-много.

Я не вижу-слышу, чтобы борцы с изменением климата взяли точку зрения Уго на 
вооружение, хотя я рассылал её ещё в феврале.

Dear colleagues,

we all know that humans consider themselves as the smartest species on 
planet Earth -- it is true, although it is also true that we are making a 
very bad use of this great intelligence in order to kill each other and 
members of other species as well. Pretty dumb, I'd say.

But how is it that we are so intelligent? It is a question that has puzzled 
me for a long time and, by now, I think I have a possible answer. You can

My point is that large brains are possible only in conditions in which they 
can be efficiently oxygenated; that is for low concentrations of CO2 in the 
atmosphere. It is a condition that Earth's ecosystem experienced only during 
the past few million years. And that is why we are here, basically.

Unfortunately, no matter how smart we think we are, we are dumb enough to be 
working at raising the CO2 concentration at levels at which the brain cannot 
be properly oxygenated. We may be "un-evolving" ourselves, back to times 
when there were no sentient being on Earth. The recently observed phenomenon 
of "global dumbing" may be a first indication of what's happening. 
Obviously, that makes even more urgent to stop emitting CO2 -- it is a 
problem additional to global warming, but perhaps even more worrisome.

So, if you have some time, please take a look at my paper. For the time 
being, it is in the form of a preprint, and I am waiting from comments and 
criticism from others before I submit it to a scientific journal as a 
full-fledged paper. Your comments, suggestions, and criticism are most 
welcome
