Dear colleagues,

Let us kindly remind you about the upcoming Global workshop on funding and 
financing transboundary water cooperation and basin development (5 - 6 
December 2023) and the 8th meeting of the Task Force on the 
Water-Food-Energy-Ecosystems Nexus (7 - 8 December 2023) to both be held in 
Geneva, Switzerland.

  a.. Financial support: Please note that the deadline to apply for 
financial support has been extended until 24 October 2023. Requests for 
financial support from developing countries and countries with economies in 
transition should be submitted using the attached financial support request 
forms to the Secretariat (cammile.marcelo at un.org), duly signed by the 
authorized high-level official. Please note that there is one form per 
event. If you wish to apply for financial support for both, you should fill 
out and sign both forms. No applications will be accepted after the 
deadline.

  a.. Visa: Participants requiring entry visas should inform the Water 
Convention Secretariat as soon as possible. Since Switzerland is part of the 
Schengen Zone, obtaining a visa might take up to 5 weeks. Participants 
needing a visa are therefore requested to submit their application as soon 
as possible and initiate visa procedures not later than 27 October 2023.

  a.. Registration: We remind you that registration is necessary to attend 
the global workshop and/or the task force meeting, and we kindly ask you to 
register by 24 November 2023 using the following link:

Objet : RAPPEL : Invitation à l'atelier mondial sur à l’Atelier mondial sur 
le financement de la coopération dans le domaine des eaux transfrontières et 
de la mise en valeur des bassins| 5-6 décembre 2023 et à la Huitième réunion 
de l’Équipe spéciale des interactions entre l’eau, l’alimentation, l’énergie 
et les écosystèmes | Genève | 7-8 décembre 2023 | Genève

Permettez-nous de vous rappeler deux importantes réunions à venir organisées 
dans le cadre de la Convention sur l’eau:  l’Atelier mondial sur le 
financement de la coopération dans le domaine des eaux transfrontières et de 
la mise en valeur des bassins (5 au 6 décembre 2023) et la Huitième réunion 
de l’Équipe spéciale des interactions entre l’eau, l’alimentation, l’énergie 
et les écosystèmes (7 au 8 décembre 2023) qui se tiendront à Genève, en 
Suisse.

  a.. Soutien financier : Veuillez noter que la date limite pour demander un 
soutien financier a été prolongée jusqu'au 24 octobre 2023. Les participants 
éligibles provenant de pays avec des économies en transition et de pays en 
développement, peuvent demander une aide financière afin de faciliter leur 
participation à la réunion. Les demandes d'aide financière devront être 
soumises au secrétariat de la Convention sur l’eau (cammile.marcelo at un.org) 
à l'aide des formulaires de demande de soutien financier ci-joints, dûment 
signé par le responsable habilité. Veuillez noter qu'il y a un formulaire 
propre à chaque événement. Si vous souhaitez demander un soutien financier 
pour les deux événements, vous devez remplir et signer les deux formulaires. 
Aucune candidature ne sera acceptée après la date limite.

  a.. Visa : Les participants ayant besoin d'un visa d'entrée doivent en 
informer le Secrétariat de la Convention sur l'eau dès que possible. La 
Suisse faisant partie de l'espace Schengen, l'obtention d'un visa peut 
prendre jusqu'à 5 semaines. Les participants ayant besoin d'un visa sont 
donc priés de soumettre leur demande dès que possible et d'entamer les 
procédures de visa au plus tard le 27 octobre 2023.

  a.. Inscription : Nous vous rappelons que l'inscription est nécessaire 
pour participer à l'atelier et nous vous prions de vous inscrire  avant le 
24 novembre 2023 en utilisant le lien suivant :

Уважаемые коллеги!

Напоминаем вам о предстоящем Глобальном рабочем совещании по вопросам 
выделения средств и финансирования сотрудничества в области трансграничных 
водных ресурсов и развития бассейнов (5 - 6 декабря 2023 г.) и 8-м заседании 
Целевой группы по системе взаимосвязей между водой, продовольствием, 
энергией и экосистемами (7 - 8 декабря 2023 г.), которые пройдут в Женеве, 
Швейцария).

·         Финансовая поддержка:Обращаем ваше внимание, что срок подачи 
заявок на получение финансовой поддержки продлен до24октября2023 года.Заявки 
на получение финансовой поддержки из развивающихся стран и стран с 
переходной экономикой следует подать в Секретариат (cammile.marcelo at un.org), 
воспользовавшись прилагаемой формой заявки на финансовую поддержку, которая 
должна быть надлежащим образом подписана уполномоченным высокопоставленным 
должностным лицом. Обратите внимание, что для каждого мероприятия 
предусмотрена одна форма. Если Вы хотите подать заявку на финансовую 
поддержку для участия в двух мероприятиях, Вам необходимо заполнить и 
подписать две формы.После указанного срока заявки приниматься не будут.

·         Виза:Участникам, которым требуется въездная виза, следует как 
можно скорее проинформировать об этом Секретариат Конвенции по 
трансграничным водам. Поскольку Швейцария входит в Шенгенскую зону, 
получение визы может занять до 5 недель. В этой связи участникам, которым 
необходима виза, предлагается как можно скорее подать заявление и начать 
процедуру получения визыне позднее 27 октября 2023 года.

·         Регистрация:Напоминаем вам о том, что для участия в глобальном 
семинаре и/или заседании целевой группы необходимо зарегистрироваться, и мы 
просим вас сделать это до 24 ноября 2023 года, перейдя по

Estimados colegas,

Permítannos recordarles las próximas reuniones organizadas en el marco del 
Convenio del Agua : El Taller mundial sobre la financiación de la 
cooperación en materia de aguas transfronterizas y el desarrollo de cuencas 
(5-6 diciembre de 2023) y la Octava reunión Grupo de Tareas sobre el Nexo 
Agua-Alimentos-Energía-Ecosistemas (5-6 diciembre de 2023) que tendrará 
lugar en Ginebra, Suiza.

  a.. Apoyo financiero: Tenga en cuenta que el plazo para solicitar apoyo 
financiero se ha ampliado hasta el 24 de octubre de 2023. Las solicitudes de 
apoyo financiero de los países en desarrollo y los países con economías en 
transición deberán enviarse a la Secretaría (cammile.marcelo at un.org) 
utilizando los formularios de solicitud de apoyo financiero adjuntos, 
debidamente firmado por el funcionario de alto nivel autorizado. Veuillez 
noter qu'il y a un formulaire propre à chaque événement. Tenga en cuenta que 
hay un formulario distinto para cada acontecimiento. Si desea solicitar 
ayuda económica para ambos eventos, deberá cumplimentar y firmar ambos 
formularios. No se aceptarán solicitudes fuera de plazo.

  a.. Visados: Los participantes que necesiten visado de entrada deberán 
informar a la Secretaría de la Convenio del Agua lo antes posible. Dado que 
Suiza forma parte del espacio Schengen, la obtención de un visado puede 
tardar hasta 5 semanas. Por lo tanto, se ruega a los participantes que 
necesiten un visado que presenten su solicitud lo antes posible e inicien 
los trámites de visado a más tardar el 27 de octubre de 2023.

  a.. Inscripción: Le recordamos que la inscripción es necesaria para 
asistir al taller mundial y/o a la reunión del grupo de trabajo, y le 
rogamos que se inscriba antes del 24 de noviembre de 2023 utilizando el
