                              The EU-funded programme on green economy brings resource efficiency to the core of Georgian industries
                             
                       
                 
           
     
                              The European Union-funded EU4Environment programme, with technical support from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), hosted the national conference on Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) in Georgia at Biltmore Hotel. This year’s event marked an important milestone in the Action’s activities dedicated to Circular Economy (CE) and New Growth Opportunities in the country. It served as a platform to communicate results, discuss challenges and opportunities, and engage national and international partners on how resource efficiency can guide Georgian businesses toward success.




                              Between 2020-2023, within the EU-funded EU4Environment programme, with the technical assistance of UNIDO, eleven professionals and 44 companies have been assessed and trained (17 RECP Clubs members and 27 Demonstration Companies) using the RECP methodology. Overall, 115 RECP measures were recommended, which could potentially yield annual savings worth 2,173,268 EUR. So far, 26 RECP measures have been implemented, expecting savings of 557,650 EUR per year.




                              Gathering over 100 participants in a hybrid format, the event centred around Georgia’s SMEs through six specialised sessions. Here, the stakeholders discussed practical means to base Georgia’s growth agenda on the CE, assessed the country’s integration of CE practices in the past decade, and rejuvenated the policy and regulatory framework for green growth. In addition, international experiences from EU4Business and others, paired with the national experiences on resource efficiency, value chains, and regulatory frameworks, were the catalyst for the increasingly urgent conversation on green skills and how to direct investment towards efficient use of resources in the country.

                              ევროკავშირის დაფინანსებული მწვანე ეკონომიკის პროგრამა მხარს უჭერს საქართველოს მრეწველობას გახდეს რესურსეფექტური
                             
                              ევროკავშირის მიერ დაფინანსებულმა EU4Environment პროგრამამ, გაეროს ინდუსტრიული განვითარების ორგანიზაციის (UNIDO) ტექნიკური მხარდაჭერით, სასტუმრო ბილტმორში, რესურსეფექტური და სუფთა წარმოების (რესწ) შესახებ, ეროვნულ კონფერენციას უმასპინძლა.




                              წლევანდელი ღონისძიება, მნიშვნელოვანი ეტაპი იყო პროგრამის საქმიანობაში, რომელიც ცირკულარულ ეკონომიკას და ქვეყანაში ახალ შესაძლებლობების ზრდას მიეძღვნა. კონფერენციამ, როგორც გამოწვევების, შესაძლებლობებისა და შედეგების განხილვის საკომუნიკაციო პლათფორმამ, ეროვნული და საერთაშორისო პარტნიორების ჩართულობით, ხელი შეუწყო ისეთი მნიშვნელოვანი საკითხის განხილვას, როგორიც არის, რესურსების ეფექტური გამოყენების გზები ქართული ბიზნესის წარმატებულობის უზრუნველსაყოფად.




                              2020-2023 წლებში, ევროკავშირის მიერ დაფინანსებული EU4Environment პროგრამის ფარგლებში, UNIDO-ს ტექნიკური დახმარებით, თერთმეტმა პროფესიონალმა და 44 კომპანიამ (RECP კლუბის 17 წევრი და 27 საჩვენებელი კომპანია) შეფასების და სწავლების პროცესი რესწ მეთოდოლოგიის გამოყენებით გაიარა. ჯამში, რეკომენდირებული იყო 115 რესწ ღონისძიება, რამაც შეიძლება მოიტანოს 2,173,268 ევროს ოდენობის წლიური დანაზოგი. ამ დროისთვის განხორციელებულია 26 რესწ ღონისძიება, რის შედეგადაც მოსალოდნელია 557,650 ევროს წლიური დანაზოგი. ეს აჩვენებს მეთოდოლოგიის პრაქტიკულ გამოყენებას მცირე და საშუალო საწარმოებში, მათი ბიზნესის ტიპისა და ზომის მიუხედავად.




                              ღონისძიება, რომელმაც, ჰიბრიდულ ფორმატში, 100-ზე მეტი მონაწილე შეკრიბა, ექვსი სპეციალიზირებული სესიის მეშვეობით, ქართულ მცირე და საშუალო საწარმოებზე იყო ორიენტირებული. აღნიშნულ ფორმატში, დაინტერესებულმა მხარეებმა, საქართველოს ზრდის პროგრამის ცირკულარულ ეკონომიკაზე დაფუძნების პრაქტიკული საშუალებები განიხილეს და გასული ათწლეულის განმავლობაში, ქვეყანაში, ცირკულარული ეკონომიკის მეთოდების ინტეგრაცია შეაფასეს. EU4Business-ისა და სხვა ორგანიზაციების საერთაშორისო და ადგილობრივი გამოცდილება, რესურსეფექტურობის, ღირებულების ჯაჭვებისა და მარეგულირებელი ჩარჩოების ეროვნულ გამოცდილებასთან ერთად, მწვანე უნარებისა და რესურსების ეფექტური გამოყენების მიზნით, ქვეყანაში ინვესტიციების სწორად მართვის შესახებ სულ უფრო მზარდი და გადაუდებელი დიალოგის წარმოებისთვის, გარდამტეხი ფაქტორი აღმოჩნდა.
