European Commission Recommends EU Candidacy for Georgia
European Commission today recommended granting EU candidate’s status to Georgia. The President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen announced the decision at the EU press conference dedicated to the 2023 Enlargement package and the new Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.
The European Council will take the decision on granting the status in December 2023.
This is a huge step towards the European future of Georgia; We call on all sectors to get involved in the implementation of those reforms, which in the future will lead to granting Georgia candidate status and joining the European Union.
ევროკომისიამ საქართველოსთვის კანდიდატის სტატუსის მინიჭების რეკომენდაცია გასცა
ევროკომისიამ 8 ნოემბერს საქართველოსთვის კანდიდატის სტატუსის მინიჭების რეკომენდაცია გასცა. ევროკომისიის პრეზიდენტმა, ურსულა ფონ დერ ლაიენმა გადაწყვეტილება ევროკავშირის ერთობლივ პრეს-კონფერენციაზე გააჟღერა, რომელიც 2023 წლის გაფართოების პაკეტსა და დასავლეთ ბალკანეთის ქვეყნებისთვის ზრდის ახალ გეგმას მიეძღვნა.
ევროპული საბჭო გადაწყვეტილებას საქართველოსთვის სტატუსის მინიჭების თაობაზე 2023 წლის დეკემბერში მიიღებს.
ეს არის ევროპული მომავლისკენ გადადგმული უდიდესი ნაბიჯი; მოვუწოდებთ ყველა სექტორს, ჩაერთოს იმ რეფორმების განხორციელებაში, რომლებიც სამომავლოდ განაპირობებს საქართველოსთვის კანდიდატის სტატუსის მინიჭებას და ევროკავშირში გაერთიანებას.
