pain. These amazing creatures are intelligent and can live for up to 100 
years in the wild. So why are some Kroger grocery stores still keeping and 
selling live lobsters in tanks?

                        To make matters worse, research shows that even when 
"conditions are improved" in these tanks, the crustaceans still suffer. It 
turns out, keeping an animal locked in a tiny water tank for days or weeks 
on end is simply inhumane regardless of how much you attempt to "reform" the 
practice. It is time Kroger commit to removing all live lobster tanks from
