Dear Prize winners,

We are pleased to announce the continuation of our 2021 Grantmaking Program. The Grantmaking Program will support the organizations of Prize winners through grants focused on projects for:

Targeted Support: The grant must support efforts to secure a clear environmental achievement or advance an environmental campaign. 

*Proposals for COVID-19 relief support projects will not be considered for support.

Prize winners from 1990-2018 are eligible to apply.

To apply for a grant, please respond to grants at goldmanprize.org with a letter of inquiry by Friday, January 8, 2021. Grants will be awarded in June 2020, so please plan a project start date no earlier than July 1, 2021. Please note that we only accept project proposals that have a one-year timeline. Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis.

Please see the attached document for specific instructions on how to apply for a grant. Let me know if you have any questions regarding the 2021 Grantmaking Program. We look forward to hearing from you!
