<P>Dear Prize winners,</P>
<P>We are pleased to announce the continuation of our 2021 Grantmaking Program.
The Grantmaking Program will support the organizations of Prize winners through
grants focused on projects for:</P>
<P><U>Targeted Support:</U> The grant must support efforts to secure a clear
environmental achievement or advance an environmental campaign. </P>
<P><B>*Proposals for COVID-19 relief support projects will not be considered for
support.</B></P>
<P>Prize winners from 1990-2018 are eligible to apply.</P>
<P>To apply for a grant, please respond to <A
href="mailto:grants@goldmanprize.org"
target=_blank><B>grants@goldmanprize.org</B></A> with a letter of inquiry
by <B>Friday, January 8, 2021</B>. Grants will be awarded in June 2020, so
please plan a project start date no earlier than July 1, 2021. Please note that
we only accept project proposals that have a one-year timeline. Grants will be
awarded on a competitive basis.</P>
<P>Please see the attached document for specific instructions on how to apply
for a grant. Let me know if you have any questions regarding the 2021
