                  Dear Friend,

                  Our movement to stop nuclear power and radioactive waste has always been about the right to a safe, healthy, and sustainable world for future generations. 


                  Now the world's youth are calling on all of us to join with them this week in a Global Climate Strike.

                  Students across the country are organizing hundreds of marches, sit-ins, rallies, and protests on Friday and the coming days--coinciding with the gathering of world leaders at the United Nations. 

                  NIRS urges everyone to support the Global Climate Strike in whatever way you can.
