            Belgium is this close to banning all bee-harming neonicotinoid pesticides, but the EU is blocking it. You and I urgently need to get this ban back on track. Bees are being sprayed and exposed to the toxic pesticides!

            The European Commission needs to give its green light, but it’s been stalling for months now -- putting the balance of bees and nature that our food and ecosystem depends on in danger.

            Vladimir, will you make your voice count and demand that the European Commission allows Belgium to ban pesticides that are toxic to bees?

            Bees pollinate food eaten by you and I, birds and other animals, making these tiny miracle-workers essential to our planet’s health. But bees are often sidelined in the pursuit of short term profits for big agriculture and the pesticide lobby.

            ‘Neonics’ are a key cause in the decline of Europe’s bees. And the danger to our bees -- and humans -- is so real. In Belgium about 75% of flowering plants breed thanks to pollinators and the economic value of pollination can reach several hundred million euros per year.

            Now Belgium wants to build on the EU's 2018 ban on the three worst neonics, and ban every pesticide in this toxic class! But they can't do it unless the EU gives its green light. 

            The Belgian ban is especially important as within the EU, bees are dying the most in Belgium and France. In response, France has already banned all neonicotinoid pesticides. Now the EU must allow Belgium to do the same!

            Tell the European Commission not to wait any longer and to allow the Belgian ban on ALL neonicotinoids to save our bees! 

            Public pressure works. Last year, more than a million Europeans beat the powerful pesticide lobby by getting European governments to ban three of the most dangerous bee-killing neonicotinoid pesticides. 

            Today a wider ban on all neonicotinoid pesticides in Belgium has never been closer. Vladimir, can you add your voice to tell the European Commission that we no longer want these poisons in our lives and those of our bees?
