Межправительственная научно-политическая платформа по биоразнообразию и 
экосистемным услугам (МПБЭУ), официальное название по-английски 
Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem 
Services (IPBES), в состав которой входят 127 правительств стран-членов, 
включая Россию, – это глобальный орган, занимающийся оценкой состояния 
биоразнообразия и вклада природы в жизнь людей в ответ на запросы от лиц, 
ответственных за принятие решений. МПБЭУ, которую часто называют «МГЭИК по 
вопросам биоразнообразия», является всемирной научно-политической 
платформой, перед которой стоит задача предоставления лучших из имеющихся 
свидетельств для принятия более информированных решений, касающихся природы, 
правительствами, бизнесом и даже отдельными домохозяйствами. Председателем 
МПБЭУ является сэр Роберт Уотсон.

Dear friends and colleagues,
We would like to share with you information about the two upcoming events 
below in connection with the external review of the draft Nature Futures 
Framework and methodological guidance (notification EM/2021/25).

We will organise a dialogue workshop for national focal points and other 
Government representatives, 4 October and a stakeholder online workshop, 6 
October, to facilitate greater engagement and develop capacities for 
increased understanding of the draft Nature Futures Framework and 
methodological guidance, as we have done for previous IPBES external 
reviews.

To support increased participation in this review, we would kindly ask you 
to reach out to your network and share this information with all relevant 
experts, practitioners, and Government representatives.

To register as an IPBES reviewer and to participate in one of the workshops 
listed below here Registration to review the draft nature futures framework 
and methodological guidance | IPBES secretariat

To cater for a broad participation and from many countries and regions, we 
will have several sessions and simultaneous interpretation, as outlined 
below.

Dialogue workshop with national focal points and other Government 
representatives:

  a.. Monday 4 October:  09:00-11:00 CEST (with English- Chinese, Russian 
and Arabic interpretation)
  b.. Monday 4 October: 16:00-18:00 CEST (with English- French and Spanish 
interpretation)
Online workshop for interested experts and practitioners from the wider 
community, including experts on narrative approaches from the humanities and 
social sciences:

  a.. Wednesday 6 October: 6:00-8:00 CEST (with English- Russian and Chinese 
interpretation)
  b.. Wednesday 6 October: 13:00-15:00 CEST (with English- French and Arabic 
interpretation)
  c.. Wednesday 6 October: 18:00-20:00 CEST (with English-Spanish 
interpretation)
If you have any questions regarding the workshops let us know. We hope to 
see you in one of the workshops.
