But Tech Giants must contribute to solutions, not make

<P>Tech Giants have a pollution problem. <B>Microsoft has confessed
its emissions rose 30%</B> since 2020, and<B> Google admitted to a
48% increase.</B></P>
<P>The reason for emissions spiralling out of control? The <B>data
centers used to house AI servers and storage systems consume massive
amounts of energy</B>. And guzzle billions of gallons of water in
order to cool down the equipment.</P>
<P>As the demand for AI increases and tech giants expand their
capabilities we must demand they do so sustainably. <B>AI has so
much potential to help us look after the environment.</B> But
Tech Giants won't make this a priority unless there's a big public
push:</P>

sustainability and renewables now.</A></P>
<P><B>AI can help predict how much renewable energy we will get from
the sun and wind and how to optimise our electricity grids.</B> It
can also help design wind turbines and aircrafts that are lighter
and therefore use less energy.</P>
<P>But until the Tech Giants make their data centers sustainable
AI's help solving environmental problems doesn't matter. We need a
moratorium on data center expansions whilst they figure out how to
use less water, dispose of hazardous chemicals and transition to
100% renewable energy before it's too late.</P>

parent company about its human rights track record and gotten the
majority of independent votes</B> – a strong indication that
investors are seriously concerned about the company.</P>
<P>Let’s build a massive global campaign and show Big Tech that
everyone is demanding it prioritises the environment and transitions
