regulators to<B> investigate banks like Barclays for funding Adani
</B>despite knowing that the company committed fraud.</P>
<P style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">Financial regulators aren't used to
the public spotlight. If tens of thousands of us demand they take
swift action against these banks, we can <B>force them to
investigate and stop the flow of funds propping up dirty coal giant
Adani. </B></P>

Commission and Justice Department are already investigating Adani
for bribery, fraud, and deception, and Geneva’s Public Prosecutor is
digging into <B>allegations of money laundering and forgery.</B></P>
<P style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">Yet despite mounting evidence of
Adani’s crimes, French and British banks like Société Générale,
Standard Chartered, and Barclays have arranged million-dollar bonds
that have helped Adani mine, handle, and burn record volumes of coal
and become the <B>number one driver of the climate
crisis.</B> </P>
<P style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">It’s why it’s time to <B>tell French
regulator AMF and British regulator FCA to take action against banks
propping up this corrupt, climate-wrecking company.</B></P>
<P style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">People power has pushed Adani back
for decades. The Ekō community has stopped Adani from digging the
Carmichael coal mine in Australia. We forced Adani to cancel its
plans for a $1.2 billion bond sale in 2024 – a major financial
setback! We also stopped Scottish investor Abrdn from investing in
Adani bonds and drove a notable reduction in financial support for
Adani. <B>It’s</B> <B>time to hold accountable those bankrolling
Adani again. </B></P>
