<P>SOS: <B>Deforestation is once again SURGING in the orangutan
capital of the world thanks to mega-brands like P&G and Nestlé’s
insatiable need for palm oil.</B></P>
<P>2024 smashed recent records with vast amounts of Indonesia’s
precious forest lost, more than half of which was critical habitat
for endangered orangutans, tigers, and elephants.</P>
<P><B>But we have a plan to save them!</B></P>
<P>In just a few weeks, <B>major companies like P&G, Nestlé,
Mars, and Mondelēz will come together for a huge brand summit.</B>
It’s their big moment to unveil splashy new PR campaigns.</P>
<P>With all of us chipping in, our crack team of campaigners could
expose these<B> brands at this critical moment with smart tactics
like brand-damaging ads, splashing execs’ faces all over the
media</B>, and turn the spotlight on the world’s biggest brands like
never before.</P>
<P>But to compete with their well-funded, slick marketing machines,
it’s going to take <I>all</I> of us giving just a little bit so we
can fight to protect our natural world from corporate greed.</P>

<P>For decades, profit-hungry companies have been hacking away and
burning forests — all so the likes of Mondelēz and Nestlé can put
palm oil in snacks and detergents.</P>
<P>Massive public pressure, including from the Ekō community, forced
many companies to do better in recent years. But now, that progress
is slipping backwards, and critically endangered orangutans are at
risk of disappearing altogether.</P>
<P><B>We have to do something — and fast.</B></P>
<P>Here’s the plan: all the biggest consumer-facing companies will
come together for a massive, once-a-year summit in just a few weeks.
<B>It’s a huge PR opportunity and brands like P&G and Nestlé
spare no cost to put on a big show….so we’re going to turn the
spotlight on them right when it matters the most.</B></P>
<P>Our brilliant team of campaigners are ready to make such a stir
that the big story coming out of the summit is deforestation – then
we’ll keep up the pressure beyond this meeting<B> to FORCE brands to
commit to adopt and enforce stronger standards to protect
forests.</B></P>
<P>We may never match the deep pockets of Unilever and Nestlé, but
when all of us chip in a little bit, we become powerful enough to
take on corporate giants like these.</P>
