OpenAI was created to develop artificial intelligence that would
benefit humanity as a whole. It's a non-profit. <STRONG>But Altman
and his cronies are maneuvering to turn it into a for-profit
business</STRONG>, taking tens of billions of dollars of public
value private.</P>
<P><STRONG>The last thing we need is more tech
billionaires.</STRONG> And if the biggest AI companies are all run
for profit, we know what we'll see -- more Musks and Zuckerbergs
destroying everything so that they can be kings.</P>
<P>But the change to for-profit isn't assured. Multiple legal
officials have a say, and the company's board does too. If people
everywhere – from technologists to lawmakers to business leaders and
everyone in between – <STRONG>join together and demand a halt to
this plan, we can stop it... </STRONG>and show Big Tech that
the time for doing whatever it wants is over.</P>
