colleagues,</SPAN></STRONG></P>
<P>The Water Convention Secretariat, in collaboration with the lead Parties
Estonia and Slovenia, and a drafting group, is currently developing a
<B><I>Guidance note for the implementation of source-to-sea management in
transboundary basins</I></B><I>.</I></P>
<P>An outline of the Guidance Note, available <A
href="https://unece.org/sites/default/files/2024-10/ECE_MP.WAT_2024_6_S2S_ENG.pdf"
target=_blank>here</A>, will be presented at the <A
href="https://unece.org/MOP10_Water_Convention" target=_blank>10th Meeting of
the Parties to the Water Convention</A> (Ljubljana, 23-25 October 2024). The
Meeting of the Parties is expected to mandate the lead Parties, Secretariat and
drafting group to proceed with the preparation of the Guidance note.</P>
<P>It is envisioned to finalize the Guidance Note between November 2024 and May
2025, and to support this process, we are seeking <SPAN
class=text-format-content_mr_css_attr><B>successful</B> <B>examples of
source-to-sea management in transboundary basins</B></SPAN>.</P>
<P>If you have relevant case studies, we kindly invite you to <B>submit them via
this form: <A href="https://forms.office.com/e/udRUfuwmNf"
target=_blank>https://forms.office.com/e/udRUfuwmNf</A>.</B> Please submit your
case studies by Friday, <STRONG><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Calibri',sans-serif">15 November 2024,</SPAN></STRONG> to
ensure they can be incorporated into the final Guidance Note.</P>
<P>The final Guidance Note will be presented at the third <B>United Nations
Ocean Conference</B> (Nice, France, 9-13 June 2025) and at the <STRONG><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Calibri',sans-serif">20th </SPAN></STRONG><B>meeting of the
Working Group on Integrated Water Resources Management</B> (Geneva, 13-15
October 2025)</P>

target=_blank><SPAN lang=FR-CH>10e réunion des parties à la Convention sur
l'eau</SPAN></A> <SPAN lang=FR-CH>(Ljubljana, 23-25 octobre 2024). La réunion
des Parties devrait mandater les Parties chefs de file et le groupe de rédaction
pour procéder à la préparation de la note d'orientation.</SPAN></P>

novembre 2024 et mai 2025, et pour soutenir ce processus, nous recherchons des
