Luckily, they have been making a remarkable recovery
over the past 100 years, thanks to conservation efforts.
But the current hunting quotas threaten to undo this
progress.<BR><BR>This mass killing is not only inhumane
but <STRONG>also unnecessary.</STRONG> Other options for
population management exist that are less cruel, more
ethical, and more effective.<BR><BR>On top of that, the
ways these bears are being killed is truly harrowing.
Previously, it was illegal for hunters to use

tear them apart. <STRONG>Now, Sweden is allowing these
