<P class=MsoNormal>I am writing to invite you to sign onto a letter to
governments in the run up to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) COP15
in Montreal. The letter calls on these governments to implement regulation to
tackle the biodiversity crisis caused by deforestation and conversion of other
ecosystems. It would be great if your organisation would <B>consider signing on
to this initiative and share it with your partners and networks</B>. The letter
was drafted by Friends of the Earth US with inputs from multiple civil society
organisations.</P>
