<P>Local communities in East Africa are not only bearing the brunt of the
climate crisis, but they <B>suffer firsthand from the disastrous consequences of
a new breed of colonialism</B> - the corporate one.</P>
<P>It’s the people in Uganda and Tanzania that are being kicked off their land,
whose livelihoods and water supply are being endangered by oil spills. And who
are being attacked, harassed and intimidated when they speak out.
