<P>Hi,</P>
<P>We’re just about halfway through the UN climate talks in Glasgow. COP26 is
making headlines across the world, but there’s also the other, less visible work
going on.</P>
<P>Activists and delegates representing vulnerable communities on the frontlines
of the climate crisis, from the Pacific Islands to the Indigenous Peoples in
Central America, are here fighting a long, hard battle to get their voices
heard.</P>
<P>They’re the people pointing towards real, just, equitable solutions to the
climate crisis, both inside the conference center and outside on the streets of
Glasgow. Their fight will continue after COP is over, but for the coming week
they could use all the support, love and encouragement they can get to keep
fighting.</P>
<P><STRONG>Can you send a message of love and solidarity to activists and

<P>Right now there are two COPs. The Global North COP is filled with
greenwashing, billionaires, and exclusionary politics. Then there’s the COP
taking place in the streets of Glasgow and cities around the world. It's made up
of Indigenous communities, young people, and people leading the fight to save
their homes and a way of life. It is vital the people who embody that second COP
stay in the room. It is their leadership that will result in meaningful policy
and concrete plans.</P>
<P>We don't want to overwhelm people representing the most vulnerable
communities inside the climate negotiations with tons of direct messages and
notifications going off on their phones, that's why we're asking you to <A
href="https://act.350.org/go/258625?t=8&utm_medium=email&utm_source=actionkit&akid=173861%2E4050260%2E_Xr0m5"><STRONG>use
this form to share your words of support and encouragement</STRONG></A>, rather
than pointing you directly to specific people's social media accounts. But trust
me: we'll make sure these messages find their intended recipients in the coming
days.</P>
