<P>Have you heard the news? <STRONG>Dow’s brain-harming pesticide
chlorpyrifos has been banned in Europe -- thanks to SumOfUs members
like you!</STRONG></P>
<P>Even after the European Food Safety Authority warned that
<STRONG>this neurotoxic chemical was a serious danger to human
health -- and especially children</STRONG> -- its makers lobbied
hard to keep it legal in the EU.</P>
<P>But in the end, <STRONG>the EU listened to over 220,000 other
SumOfUs members</STRONG> and passed a long-overdue ban on the
pesticide, effective at the end of this month!</P>
<P>Together with our partners in HEAL, Generations Futures,
Ecologistas en Acción and the Pesticide Action Network,
<STRONG>we’ve made Europe’s fruits and vegetables safer for kids to
eat</STRONG> -- and proven to Dow’s lobbyists that their millions
are no match for our people power.</P>
<P>It’s a great way to kick off the year, <STRONG>but we’re not
going to stop there.</STRONG></P>
<P><STRONG>We’ve got big plans to take on pesticide corporations in
2020,</STRONG> from banning bee-harming chemicals like sulfoxaflor
to finally getting the cancer-linked weedkiller glyphosate out of
our food.</P>
<P>And <STRONG>with amazing members like you on board, we can do it
all.</STRONG></P>
<P>This big win showed the agrochemical industry what the SumOfUs
community can do, but <STRONG>there’s still lots of work ahead of us
-- will you set up a regular donation to keep the fight against
