paper which links Just Transition to broader social justice issues. Just
Transition should be the overarching framework for a transition that includes
not only workers in fossil fuel industries but others who are marginalised by
the extractive economic model and inequitable social paradigms. This report
draws the connections between decarbonisation and the disabled.</DIV>

great pleasure that the ILO has published a global paper on the nexus of
climate change, persons with disabilities and labour issues. It highlights
that implementing a just transition that ensures disability inclusion in
climate action will require appropriate legal standards, social protection
mechanisms, skills development initiatives and attitudinal changes at the
societal level.</P>
