Lobsters face a slow, agonizing death when boiled.
Boiling Lobsters Alive Is Torture. We Must Ban This Practice Far and Wide.

In a hard-won victory for animal welfare, England just banned boiling lobsters alive!
For years, experts and animal rights activists have worked tirelessly to get legislators to understand: crustaceans feel pain, and boiling them alive is literally a form of torture.
That's why its so heartening that the brutal practice has been banned in England, following in the footsteps of Norway, New Zealand, and Switzerland which have also outlawed live lobster boiling.
As it stands, however, the new animal welfare package only applies to England, not the entire United Kingdom. This means that lobsters in Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland will still face painful, agonizing deaths.
Sign now to tell the Parliament of the United Kingdom: apply this animal welfare policy to the entirety of the United Kingdom, not just England!
Thank you,
Sophie
