>The seventh session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-7) is coming up 8 - 12 December 2025 at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) headquarters in Nairobi with the world’s environmental leaders getting together to discuss "Advancing sustainable solutions for a resilient planet”. We are excited to invite you all to the upcoming Regional Consultation Meeting for the European Region taking place online on:
>
   •  First session: 3 October2025, 10:00-14:00 CESTand
   •  Second session: 6 October2025, 9:00-12:00 CEST
>Representatives from the nine Major Groups from across our region as well as selected non-accredited organisations following UNEA are encouraged to join and to engage in this process. All participants will get the opportunity to feed into a Joint Regional Statement including specific asks around UNEA draft resolutions.
>
>During the first session we will have the opportunity to learn more about the UNEA 7 roadmap and the opportunities to engage. We’ll take a look to the current version of the Ministerial Declaration and to all draft resolutions (given governments have a deadline to submit resolutions and decision by Monday 29 September 2025, 10 weeks in advance of UNEA-7).

>During the second session representatives from the Children and Youth Major Group will present the outcomes of the European Youth Days. In parallel groups, we’ll work on our key message per resolution / thematic resolution cluster.
>
>If you belong to the Children and Youth Major Group don’t hesitate to join the European Youth Days as well.
>
>🌍European Regional Youth Days – On the Road to UNEA-7🌱
>
>Online | 3–4 October 2025
>
>Organised by the Children and Youth Major Group to UNEP (CYMG), the Youth Days aim to build young people’s capacity, strengthen pan-European networks, and ensure active participation in the European Regional Consultative Meeting (RCM).
>
>The programme will:
>
   •  Host interactiveworkshops and capacity-building sessions on UNEP and UNEA processes
   •  Present the European Regional Youth Manifesto
   •  Prepare participants for the 2nd RCM session on Monday, 6 October
