This year has been a devastating one for rhinos in
South Africa.

Since the beginning of 2025, 195 rhinos have been
killed by poachers in the country.

For a critically endangered species like the rhino,
every single unnecessary death is devastating to the population.

Since poached animals are often trafficked
internationally, one country can't solve this issue alone. The South African
government has demonstrated a commitment to protecting rhinos with the Rhino
Renaissance initiative. But rhinos are still poached almost daily, and the
country can't tackle this problem alone.

The United Nations Development Programme must
dedicate more energy and resources to addressing the poaching crisis at a
global level!

Sign the petition and help us ensure every rhino is
protected — for the rest of this year and future years to come!

                 Thank you,

                        Sophie

level for such a vulnerable species. Sign to demand international
protections.
