We have to limit plastic production before it's too
late.

We're Running Out of Time To Limit Global Plastic
Production

Experts say that this is the world's "last best
chance" to fight both climate catastrophe and a crisis of microplastic
pollution. Thankfully, world leaders are meeting at the United Nations in
Geneva to come to an agreement. But, the Trump Administration is pushing for
an emphasis on waste disposal rather than limiting the production of new
plastics.

Sign the petition to demand the U.S. protect our
planet from irreversible environmental damage!

This is despite the fact that some plastics can take
hundreds of years to decompose. The science is clear: even if we
dramatically improve our recycling technology, we have to limit plastic
production to curb global emissions and protect our ecosystems from
centuries of microplastic pollution. The United States has a powerful
position in global environmental talks like this one, and Secretary of State
Marco Rubio must approach these talks in good faith. Sign now to tell U.S.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio: Prioritize limiting global plastic
production!

                 Thank you,

                        Jess

plastic. Sign the petition!
