Друзья, день не очень добрый!
Как я и предполагал, Европейский союз на экологическом и климатическом поле последовал за Борисом Ельциным-1995 и Дональдом Трампом-2025, занявшись отступлением с ранее занятых высоких экологических рубежей, а также с рубежей защиты прав человека. 

Де-экологизация и де-гуманизация на глобальном марше, брать пример не с кого. 

Во-первых, прошу поддержать инициативу Клэр и подписать Обращение. 

Во-вторых, тем, у кого есть круг европейских и других вне-российских друзей и соратников - распространить письмо Клэр как можно шире. 
В-третьих,  задуматься - не пора ли перейти к более активным действиям по созданию общественных институтов охраны природы и защиты окружающей нас среды. 

Пример - общественная инспекция в России, Резолюцию Форума которой я сейчас разошлю отдельным письмом.

13 ноября, как раз во время заседаний COP30, Европейский парламент принял регрессивный закон под названием “Omnibus I”, который значительно урезает законы Европейского союза о корпоративной устойчивости и климатические требования, особенно Директиву о должной осмотрительности в области корпоративной устойчивости (CSDDD).
Это голосование, если оно не будет оспорено европейскими государствами-членами, повлияет на весь мир. Корпорации, работающие в Европейском союзе, больше не будут обязаны соблюдать Парижское соглашение и уважать права человека и окружающую среду в своих производственных цепочках по всему миру.
Единственный способ остановить это попятное движение европейского права - направить европейским государствам сильный сигнал о том, что мы выступаем единым фронтом со всего мира против подобных безответственных решений.

Dear all, 

I'm turning to our community in the face of a very urgent matter right in the middle of COP30 : a terrible process is going on in Europe right now, with far-ranging devastating impacts on the climate, human rights and the environment around the globe.

On 13 November, just a few days into COP30, the European Parliament adopted a regressive legislation called “Omnibus I”, which significantly scales back the European Union’s corporate sustainability laws and climate requirements, especially the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).

This vote, if unchallenged by European Member States, will impact the whole world. Corporations operating in the European Union will no longer be obliged to meet the Paris Agreement and to respect human rights and the environment in their production chains across the globe.

The only way to stop this backward movement of European law is to send European States a strong signal of a united front from around the world against such irresponsible decisions.

In the European political decision-making process, once the Parliament has voted, it enters a final round of negotiations with the European States and European Commission. That negotiation, called a "trilogue" starts this coming Tuesday, so this is our moment, right in the middle of COP30, to put pressure on EU member States to stand firm and refuse any regression to corporate climate laws.
