                        The BBC is suppressing a powerful Gaza documentary 
that could help end the horror.

                        Over 600 prominent figures are calling for release 
of Gaza: Medics Under Fire.

                        Tell the BBC: stop delaying the documentary – 
broadcast it now!

            The BBC is suppressing a documentary about the plight of doctors 
in Gaza, saying the delay is linked to an internal review of a different 
film by a different producer. It makes no sense.

            The UK government still supports Netanyahu’s murderous regime – 
that’s why the BBC bosses won’t show the film. But airing Gaza: Medics Under 
Fire could help persuade MPs to bring an end to the horror.

            The documentary exposes the unbearable realities of life for 
Palestinians in Gaza and the brave medical professionals trying against all 
odds to save their lives.

            The only thing blocking the broadcast now is fear.

            Tell the BBC: stop delaying the documentary about Gaza doctors – 
broadcast it now!

            Last September, the UK government suspended just 30 out of 
around 350 arms export licenses to Israel, and Israel’s F35 jets are still 
bombing with abandon today – liquidating the Gaza ghetto, attacking 
neighbouring countries, and wearing through an endless supply of parts from 
countries including the UK.

            We urgently need a full arms embargo, and while Gaza: Medics 
Under Fire isn’t about the arms trade, it could have a huge impact on 
London, if the BBC broadcasts it.

            The documentary is produced by a respected former editor of 
Channel 4 News. It was supposed to be broadcast in early 2025, but the BBC 
won’t show it, and says it’ll only broadcast the film “as soon as possible”, 
citing an internal review about a different Gaza documentary made by 
different producers.

            The Guardian reported on 22 May that other broadcasters and 
platforms have offered to air the documentary instead but that move has been 
vetoed by the BBC.

            This isn't editorial caution. There’s no reason to suppress this 
film because of issues about another film by someone else.

            Tell the BBC: Broadcast “Gaza: Medics Under Fire” now!

            The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) says Gaza is facing 
“extreme risk of famine” with no food remaining in markets and aid 
distribution centres. Now, more than ever, the BBC has to rise up to its 
mandate as a public service broadcaster. Let’s make them do it.
