      Connecting global salinity hotspot methodology,

      halophytes and drought-resistant indigenous crops

      3 April 2025

      15:00 – 16:15 (CEST)

This webinar aims to advance discussions on addressing salinization in agriculture and promoting climate-resilient solutions. It will provide insights into global salinity mapping, hotspot methodology, and their implications for sustainable land management. Additionally, the webinar will highlight the role of halophytes and drought-resistant indigenous crops in adapting to climate change and improving agricultural productivity in salt-affected regions. By fostering collaboration among experts, policymakers, and researchers, this event seeks to enhance awareness, encourage action towards the promotion of the Year of Salinity in 2028, and support global efforts to build resilience in vulnerable agricultural landscapes.
