CAN EECCA Projects in 2025
Mini-Grants for Climate Initiatives
In 2025, CAN EECCA supported three member-led initiatives aimed at strengthening civil society and youth engagement in climate policy:
a.. Green Alliance KG (Kyrgyzstan): Supporting civil society, experts, and business participation in the implementation of updated NDC 3.0, including recommendations and a roadmap.
b.. Water Partnership of Kazakhstan & Climate for Us (Kazakhstan): Strengthening youth dialogue with key climate policy stakeholders through a series of youth roundtables.
c.. NGO Khazer (Armenia, Georgia): Analyzing NDC evolution and promoting synergies between climate policy, biodiversity, and land degradation.
NDC Analysis and Updates in EECCA
Ahead of COP30, CAN EECCA analyzed the NDCs of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. The findings were shared with network members and published on the CAN EECCA website.
New Initiatives by Climate Dialogues Alumni
In 2025, Climate Dialogues alumni continued launching their own initiatives. One of them is TUTA Magazine — an experimental climate and environmental media project based in Georgia, focused on regional stories and the human dimension of the climate crisis.
