                        Over the past decade, cuttlefish have been aggressively fished, with little regulation to protect them or to ensure sustainability. Today, there are no quotas controlling how much can be taken — leaving their future dangerously uncertain. Experts warn that without urgent action, overfishing will continue to strip the seas of these remarkable creatures, along with the ecological balance they help maintain.
