Expensive soccer cleats are not worth killing animals and ripping their skin off their bodies.
Two Million Kangaroos Slaughtered to Produce Expensive Soccer Shoes. Help End the Cruelty Now.

Every year, two million kangaroos are killed for their leather — more than any other type of mammal in the entire world. All this brutality and slaughter is just so people can sell these dead animals' skin — in particular, for fashion and sports, like high-end soccer cleats.
While kangaroos aren't considered an endangered species yet, the large numbers of kangaroos killed is worrying to conservationists. Experts are concerned that these hunts could push the species closer to extinction.
In many cases, these animals are killed in shocking ways that echo the cruelty seen in notorious hunts of other species worldwide, but on a much larger scale. Reports detail how the kangaroos are subjected to prolonged pain and distress, similar to how seals are massacred.
Despite the distressing practices involved, the U.S. remains one of the largest markets for kangaroo leather. Wildlife should respected, and their lives valued over corporate profits.
Luckily, Congress is considering a new bill that would fight this slaughter by banning the manufacture and sale of kangaroo leather products. We must demand that Congress pass the Kangaroo Protection Act now! Sign the petition!
Thank you,
Miranda
