Unveiling an Art Installation in Celebration of Earth Day
In honor of Earth Day and the 35th anniversary of the Goldman Environmental Prize, the Goldman Prize presented GROW, a temporary public art installation in San Francisco. GROW, which commented on civilization’s destruction of wildlife, was designed by Bay Area artists and featured trees planted around the city from Friends of the Urban Forest.

Attending the COP16 Biodiversity Conference
The Prize was delighted to attend the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity, or “COP16,” in Cali, Colombia. Our staff reunited with various Goldman Prize winners from around the world as they shared their unique perspectives in panels and meetings.
