                              The Third Session of the Intergovernmental 
Negotiating Committee (INC-3) in Kenya is Underway





                              The third session of the Intergovernmental 
Negotiating Committee to develop an international legally binding instrument 
on plastic pollution, including in the marine environment (INC-3) officially 
kicked off on November 13 and will continue until November 19.




                              Governmental delegations around the world, as 
well as other stakeholders, including NGOs, scientists, and businesses, are 
gathered together to develop a groundbreaking international legally binding 
instrument on plastic pollution. Countries are working collaboratively to 
establish measures addressing this urgent issue. This is a significant step 
towards combating the global crisis of plastic pollution and safeguarding 
our planet for future generations.




                              The Ministry of Environmental Protection and 
Agriculture of Georgia represents the official delegation of Georgia. We are 
happy to announce that CENN is a member of the official delegation with an 
observer status in INC-3 negotiations.




                              On November 13, at the plenary session, 
Georgia made a statement on the Zero Draft of the international legally 
binding instrument on plastic pollution, including in the marine 
environment.

                              კენიის დედაქალაქ ნაირობიში სამთავრობოშორისო 
მოლაპარაკებების კომიტეტის მესამე (INC-3) სესია მიმდინარეობს.

                              სამთავრობოშორისო მოლაპარაკებების კომიტეტის 
მესამე სესია 13-დან 19 ნოემბრამდე გრძელდება და პლასტმასით დაბინძურების 
შესახებ, მათ შორის წყალქვეშა გარემოში, იურიდიულად სავალდებულო საერთაშორისო 
ინსტრუმენტის შემუშავებას ეთმობა.




                              მსოფლიოს სამთავრობო დელეგაციებთან ერთად, 
სესიას ესწრებიან არასამთავრობო ორგანიზაციების, ბიზნესების, მეცნიერების 
სფეროს წარმომადგენლები და სხვა დაინტერესებული მხარეები. ქვეყნები ერთობლივად 
მუშაობენ პლასტმასით დაბინძურების შესახებ იურიდიულად სავალდებულო საერთაშორისო 
და ინოვაციური ინსტურმენტის განსავითარებლად და ამ გადაუდებელი საკითხის 
გადასაჭრელად საჭირო ზომების მისაღებად.




                              INC-3-ზე საქართველოს ოფიციალურ დელეგაციას 
საქართველოს გარემოს დაცვისა და სოფლის მეურნეობის სამინისტრო წარმოადგენს. 
მოხარული ვართ გაცნობოთ, რომ CENN დამკვირვებლის სტატუსით არის ოფიციალური 
დელეგაციის წევრი INC-3 მოლაპარაკებებში.




                              13 ნოემბრის პლენარულ სხდომაზე, საქართველომ 
განცხადება გააკეთა პლასტმასით დაბინძურების, მათ შორის წყალქვეშა გარემოში, 
იურიდიულად სავალდებულო საერთაშორისო დოკუმენტის ნულოვანი პროექტის შესახებ.




                              ეს არის მნიშვნელოვანი ნაბიჯი პლასტმასით 
დაბინძურების გლობალური კრიზისის წინააღმდეგ ბრძოლისა და ჩვენი მომავლის 
დასაცავად.




                              თვალი ადევნეთ ჩვენს სიახლეებს და არ გამოტოვოთ
