                        If we are going to solve the climate crisis, the government will have to make it easy and affordable for Americans to reduce their car use. This means more trains, more buses, and more bikes. 



                        E-bikes are a great alternative to cars because they create a mere 1/70 of the climate emissions of gas-fueled cars. Not only are they extremely sustainable, they can be much more practical than regular bikes. Most e-bikes can reach speeds of 25 mph, and obviously require less physical labor to use than regular bikes, making them ideal for commuting. As an added bonus, people who commute by bike tend to be happier and feel better than their peers who sit in cars to get to and from work. 



                        A new program in Minnesota will make e-bikes, which are regularly pretty expensive, extremely affordable for all people in the state. It is time Illinois implements a similar program to incentivize e-bike use! Sign now to demand Illinois follow in Minnesota's steps and create affordable e-bike programs!
