Dolphins have to scream at each other to be heard.
Human Noise Pollution in Oceans is Forcing Dolphins to Shout at Each Other

Scientists and wildlife advocates have long speculated that human-induced noise pollution in oceans massively impacts marine life. A new study confirms these fears.
Researchers found that noise pollution has gotten so bad, dolphins now need to "shout" at one another to communicate in their native habitats.
Offshore drilling is likely a huge contributor to this. But so far, there's been limited research into the impacts of these industrial processes on beloved wildlife.
Loud, industrial noises in ocean waters could also impact feeding, mating, and even migration patterns for already threatened marine mammals like dolphins.
The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is legally bound to protect dolphins and whales under the Marine Mammals Protection Act.
It is time for the agency to assess the effect of offshore drilling on marine mammals! It must also take action to curb whatever harm is discovered. Sign the petition now if you agree!
Thank you,
