      We, empathic citizens and representatives of international public 
organizations from all over the world,


      we appeal with the support of the detained women activists of 
Kyrgyzstan.

      Women activists and public figures Klara Sooronkulova, Asiya 
Sasykbayeva, Gulnara Dzhurabaeva, Rita Karasartova, Perizat Suranova were 
detained on trumped-up charges of plotting a violent takeover of power in 
October 2022.

       We are concerned that they have been in detention for more than 100 
days.

      Each of them contributed to the development of civil society, defended 
human rights and public interests.

       Women activists were detained after a meeting of the Committee for 
the Protection of Kempir-Abad (a reservoir in the Kyrgyz Republic), where 
they spoke exclusively about a peaceful rally. A peaceful rally is 
non-violent and non-armed in nature.

      State bodies are obliged to respect and ensure the right to freedom of 
peaceful assembly without any distinction on the basis of religion, 
political or other opinions, any circumstances, and not interfere with the 
achievement of the goals of the assembly.

       We support women activists, political prisoners in Kyrgyzstan.

      We are witnessing events in Kyrgyzstan, and such actions of the 
authorities undermine and damage the image of the country in the 
international community. In the current situation, an urgent consensus and 
dialogue between the government and civil society is needed.

      We're concerned about that they have placed the level "secret" to the 
process of investigation of their case. This prevents the public from 
following the progress of the investigation.

      We call for an end to political persecution, ensure the rights of 
accused citizens and release women activists!

      Мы, неравнодушные граждане и представители международных общественных 
организаций со всего мира,

      обращаемся с поддержкой задержанных женщин-активистов Кыргызстана.

      Женщины-активисты и общественные деятели Клара Сооронкулова, Асия 
Сасыкбаева, Гульнара Джурабаева, Рита Карасартова, Перизат Суранова были 
задержанны по сфабрикованным обвинениям в подготовке насильственного захвата 
власти в октябре 2022 года.

      Мы обеспокоены, что уже более 100 дней они находятся в заключении.

      Каждый из них вносил вклад в развитие гражданского общества, защищал 
права человека и общественные интересы.

      Женщины-активисты были задержаны после встречи Комитета по защите 
Кемпир-Абада (водохранилища в КР), где они говорили исключительно о мирном 
митинге. Мирное собрание является по своему характеру не насильственным и не 
вооруженным.

      Госорганы обязаны уважать и обеспечивать право на свободу мирных 
собраний без какого-бы то ни было различия по признаку вероисповедания, 
политических или других убеждений,  каких-либо обстоятельств и не 
препятствовать достижению целей собрания.

      Мы поддерживаем женщин-активистов, политических заключенных в 
Кыргызстане.

      Мы наблюдаем события в Кыргызстане, и подобные действия властей 
подрывают и наносит урон имиджу страны в международном сообществе. В 
сложившейся ситуации необходим срочный консенсус и диалог между властью и 
гражданским обществом.

      Мы обеспокоены, что наложили гриф «секретности» в их дело. Это не 
позволяет общественности отслеживать ход расследования.

      Призываем прекратить политические преследования, обеспечить соблюдение 
прав обвиняемых граждан и освободить женщин-активистов!
