                                📙 A Good Read: "Indigenous Forests Absorb Noxious Fumes and Absorb Diseases From Fires."

                                The Comissão Guarani Yvyrupa (CGY) and twelve Indigenous Guarini communities in the Brazilian Mata Atlântica coastal forest have launched a campaign to ask President Lula for title to their ancestral lands. Their fight is emblematic of efforts by Indigenous communities around the world fighting for their #landrights as defenders of the life and territory.                                 🎞️ A Powerful Film: "The Territory" 

                                Indigenous communities are global leaders in the defense of the territory. The Oscar-nominated documentary "The Territory", produced by National Geographic, showcases the efforts of the Uru-eu-wau-wau people to secure their land rights and protect the Amazon rainforest against extractive industries.
