                        Most of us are forced to live with air pollution, but do you know the massive impacts it has on our health and the well-being of our communities? Air pollution from fossil fuels in particular contributes to increased risk of heart disease, stroke, lung cancer and respiratory infections, all of which can dramatically shorten lifespans. In fact, according to a recent study, reducing air pollution emissions would save upwards of 50,000 lives in the United States and a whopping $600 billion every single year. 



                        So why hasn't the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) drastically curbed emissions yet? Its devotion to fossil fuels, for one. 



                        Reducing our reliance on fossil fuels would make all of us happier and healthier, dramatically reduce premature deaths, and free up billions of dollars to invest in whatever other services or technological development we could dream of. There is simply no reason to continue failing to cut air pollution in order to save dying, dirty industries instead of people and planet.
