 ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌
Surging fires are threatening the future of the Amazon, the world's biggest rainforest. [1] The fires are coming sooner, lasting longer and burning wilder than ever. Along with forest fires, at the heart of this destruction is the greedy food industry bulldozing trees to make space for their businesses.

It's like watching a car crash in slow motion. But it's not too late for us to grab the wheel and set a better course. A new law is under discussion that would ban the sale of all products linked to deforestation in Europe.

The first major vote is coming up fast - our Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) will set the tone for the next decisions. But, politicians are often so into the technical details that they forget what the damage is in real life.

We've developed massive billboards to line the streets. And a storybook with messages from thousands of European children to place in MEPs' hands. It's a unique combination. So unique, it will keep the story alive in their minds as they go to vote.

The story is written, the designs are in place, and the printers are on standby. But we can't go ahead yet because we're €16,689 short of covering the cost.

If we move together, we can cover these costs and get the plan rolling before the billboard spaces are already booked up! So, how about it, will you chip in a little to help protect our planet?

      Yes, I'm in for €5
      Yes, I'm in for €8
      Yes, I'm in for €15
      I'll surprise you

The food industry is clearing century-old trees to turn forests into giant soy pastures and beef farms. All to sell their food here in Europe - the world's second biggest consumer market.

That's why their lobbyists are working flat out - holding meetings behind closed doors with our MEPs to water down this law and protect their profits.

To push back, we need to tell the true story. And doing that means making sure every MEP turning up to vote has only one thing in mind - ending forest-killing products in Europe.

That starts by making a massive statement with eye-catching billboards that will line the routes we know MEPs take on their way to vote. Then, our creative book will paint a picture of a better future, free from deforestation.

With the official political negotiations due to start soon, we are running out of time to make a decision. This is our chance to decide if we want to be in the fight or let it pass us by.

If you think we should take the chance and get involved, will you chip in to help get the plan off the ground?

      Yes, I'm in for €5
      Yes, I'm in for €8
      Yes, I'm in for €15
      I'll surprise you

P.S. The truth is - these kinds of actions don't happen all the time. It is this uniqueness that will cut through the noise. We know this works.

Ahead of a meeting with the EU's Oceans Commissioner, we produced a pop-up book like this. He told us the book will be a constant reminder for him to take action and that he'd even give the book to his children. Unexpected actions can really cut through in the minds of decision makers.
