            Banks are pushing us into a financial and environmental 
apocalypse by pumping billions into fossil fuel industries.

            But we can stop them by changing the rules for global banks and 
forcing them to halt their climate-wrecking investments.

            Our plan? Mobilize people like you, Vladimir, to share your 
concerns and stories with the powerful regulators who are - at this very 
moment - deciding the new rules on fossil fuel finance.

            Together, we can drown out the voices of the powerful lobbies 
and get the regulators to listen and change the rules for good!

            Join our partner’s workshop on Tuesday, February 15th at 17:00 
GMT to help change the rules for global banks, to stop them pumping money to 
dangerous fossil fuels!

            The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS), a group of 
financial regulation standard-setters who hold immense power, are holding a 
“consultation” on the new rules next week. This is a niche consultation, and 
as usual, the voices of industry & lobbyists will be heard, but not those of 
the youth and communities most affected by these decisions in the long 
term - those suffering climate impacts and fighting for their future.

            But by clubbing together, we can take them by surprise by 
answering their consultation en masse.

            How? Take part in this open online consultation, tell your story 
about your experience with climate change and the climate movement, and 
demand new banking rules on fossil fuel exploration and expansion.

            To make this as easy as possible, we're running workshops 
alongside our partners* at The Sunrise Project and Positive Money on 
Tuesday, February 15th at 17:00 GMT to help activist groups be part of this 
and submit their response easily. The workshop will:

              a.. create a space for sharing personal experiences, and
              b.. Walk you through how to respond to BCBS consultation, 
underlining the importance of justice and personal impact of the radical 
uncertainty surrounding climate-related financial risks.
            Together we want to show the regulators that we are ready to 
hold them accountable and we can’t be ignored.
