     Online workshop on 

      LDN Oriented Sustainable Pasture Management 
     
      2022 წლის 10 მარტს, CENN-მა, გლობალური გარემოს დაცვის ფონდის (GEF) მიერ დაფინანსებული პროექტის - „მიწის დეგრადაციის ნეიტრალური ბალანსის (LDN) ეროვნული მიზნების მიღწევა დეგრადირებული საძოვრების აღდგენისა და მდგრადი მართვის გზით“ ფარგლებში ჩატარდა ონლაინ სემინარი თემაზე - მიწის დეგრადაციის ნეიტრალური ბალანსზე (LDN) ორიენტირებული საძოვრების მდგრადი მართვა.

       
      სემინარზე განხილულ იყო შემდეგი საკითხები: (1) საძოვრების მდგრადი მართვის ძირითადი ასპექტები და სისტემები, (2) LDN-ის გამოყენება საძოვრების აღდგენის, მართვისა და მონიტორინგისთვის ეროვნულ და ადგილობრივ დონეებზე.

       
      სემინარის მომხსენებელი იყო ნიკოლას შარპი, საძოვრების მართვის საერთაშორისო ექსპერტი. სემინარი ინტერაქტიული ხასიათის იყო და მასში 40-მდე ადამიანმა მიიღო მონაწილეობა.

       
      პროექტი "მიწის დეგრადაციის ნეიტრალური ბალანსის (LDN-ის) ეროვნული მიზნების მიღწევა დეგრადირებული საძოვრების აღდგენისა და მდგრადი მართვის გზით" ინიცირებულია საქართველოს გარემოს დაცვისა და სოფლის მეურნეობის სამინისტროს მიერ და დაფინანსებულია გლობალური გარემოსდაცვითი ფონდის (GEF) მიერ. პროექტს ახორციელებს გაეროს სურსათისა და სოფლის მეურნეობის ორგანიზაცია (FAO Georgia). აღმასრულებელი ორგანიზაციაა კავკასიის რეგიონულ გარემოსდაცვითი ცენტრი (REC Caucasus). პროექტის პარტნიორია CENN.
     On March 10, 2022, CENN hosted an online workshop on LDN Oriented Sustainable Pasture Management within the project “Achieving Land Degradation Neutrality Targets of Georgia through Restoration and Sustainable Management of Degraded Pasturelands” funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF).

       
      The following issues were discussed through the workshop: (1) Key aspects and systems of sustainable pasture management, (2) Use of LDN for pasture restoration, management and monitoring at national and local levels;

       
      The speaker at the workshop was Nicholas Sharpe, international pasture field expert. The online seminar was interactive and was attended by approximately 40 participants. 

       
      The Project “Achieving Land Degradation Neutrality Targets of Georgia through Restoration and Sustainable Management of Degraded Pasturelands” is initiated by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and is financed by Global Environment Facility (GEF). The project is implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). An executive organization is the Regional Environmental Centre for the Caucasus (REC Caucasus). Project partner CENN.
