No food, fresh water or medical assistance. The temperatures are below zero.
And their options for help…
As toddlers resort to eating twigs to fight hunger, and below-zero
temperatures set in, our EU leaders sit back, letting a humanitarian crisis
unfold. But a massive public outcry from across the continent could show
they need to stand up for humanity.

Hi,
“Children are getting weaker and weaker. Toddlers nibble on wood twigs to
suck out the juices that are inside them. Chewing twigs also allows you to
cheat [....] hunger”, says activist Joanna Aisha Iwińska helping people on
the Polish-Belarusian border. [1]
Thousands of people, including women and children, are stuck there right
now.
They are stranded between 12,000 armed Polish soldiers using tear gas
against them and Belarusian officers pushing them towards Poland. [2]
Many of them have been here for days, without food, fresh water or medical
assistance. [3] No one is allowed near them, not doctors, nor anyone
offering food or shelter and safety from harm. Activists on the border are
trying to help face the threats and attacks. [4]
And as our leaders sit back and let this humanitarian crisis unfold, there
is one thing that could make them stand up for what’s right -- a massive
public outcry from across the continent.
All eyes are on this situation right now. Every single media outlet is
talking about this. And if we are silent, EU leaders will think no one
cares. But this community doesn’t stay silent. Together, we can show them
what a public outcry in the name of humanity looks like.
Sign now to demand immediate humanitarian action!
