Dear friends, Former president Obama is making a splash at the critical climate talks in Glasgow today. It's the perfect opportunity to ask why the US still hasn't made good on his promise to jointly mobilise $100 billion for vulnerable nations by 2020.This money is needed to save lives from coming climate disasters. Every day it's delayed threatens more people, and risks derailing the global talks by undermining trust in the process.Today President Obama will talk up the role of young people mobilising for climate action. Avaaz is on the ground with inspiring youth leaders, and together we have a message for Obama: YES YOU CAN!He can speak up about the US's responsibility to vulnerable countries who are facing the devastating impacts of US pollution. He can tell President Biden that he must deliver on the Obama-Biden promise from 2009.                                 Despite being the largest economy in the world, it's shocking how little the US has contributed towards the $100 billion goal. By all counts, it has failed to meet its fair share of contributions by tens of billions of dollars per year. It's time to end climate betrayal. Let's stand with vulnerable communities and raise our voices together.
