      Provided by RDA Information-Consulting Centres

      21 ოქტომბრიდან - 28 აგვისტოს ჩათვლით, CENN-ის პროექტის - "მიწის 
დეგრადაციის ნეიტრალური ბალანსის (LDN-ის) ეროვნული მიზნების მიღწევა 
დეგრადირებული საძოვრების აღდგენისა და მდგრადი მართვის გზით“ ფარგლებში 
გურჯაანის, ყაზბეგის და დმანისის მუნიციპალიტეტებში, სოფლის განვითარების 
სააგენტოს საინფორმაციო-საკონსულტაციო სამსახურის თანამშრომლების მიერ ჩატარდა 
ტრენინგები ფერმერთათვის.


      ტრენინგების მიზანი იყო დაინტერესებული მხარეების ცნობიერების ამაღლება 
ისეთ საკითხებზე, როგორიცაა: (1) ადგილობრივი პირობებიდან გამომდინარე ცხოველთა 
ჯიშების შერჩევა და მნიშვნელობა, (2) კლიმატის ცვლილება და მიწის/საძოვრების 
დეგრადაცია, (3) ფინანსებზე ხელმისაწვდომობა და ფერმის მართვა.


      ტრენინგებში ჯამში მონაწილეობა მიიღო 30-მდე ადამიანმა.


      პროექტის ფარგლებში სამიზნე მუნიციპალიტეტებში სამომავლოდაც იგეგმება 
ტრენინგების სერია, რომელიც მიმართულია მუნიციპალიტეტებში საძოვრების მდგრადი 
მართვის პრაქტიკის დანერგვის ხელშეწყობისკენ და ზოგადად ადგილობრივი დონეზე 
შესაძლებლობების გაძლიერებისკენ.


      პროექტი „მიწის დეგრადაციის ნეიტრალური ბალანსის (LDN-ის) ეროვნული 
მიზნების მიღწევა დეგრადირებული საძოვრების აღდგენისა და მდგრადი მართვის გზით“ 
ინიცირებულია საქართველოს გარემოს დაცვისა და სოფლის მეურნეობის სამინისტროს 
მიერ და დაფინანსებულია გლობალური გარემოსდაცვითი ფონდის (GEF) მიერ. პროექტს 
ახორციელებს გაეროს სურსათისა და სოფლის მეურნეობის ორგანიზაცია (FAO). 
აღმასრულებელი ორგანიზაციაა კავკასიის რეგიონულ გარემოსდაცვითი ცენტრი (REC 
Caucasus). პროექტის პარტნიორია CENN.


     From October 21 to October 28, CENN within the project “Achieving Land 
Degradation Neutrality Targets of Georgia through Restoration and 
Sustainable Management of Degraded Pasturelands” concluded training sessions 
in Gurjaani, Kazbegi and Dmanisi Municipalities via Information-Consulting 
Centers of Rural Development Agency (RDA).


      The aim of the training sessions was to raise stakeholder’s awareness 
on following issues: (1) The Importance of choosing suitable breeds for the 
local environment, (2) Climate Change and Land/Pasture Degradation, (3) 
Access to Finances and Farm Management.


      Trainings were interactive and attended by around 30 participants.


      The project plans to conduct additional series of trainings in the 
target municipalities aimed at promoting the introduction of sustainable 
pasture management practices in the municipalities and in general at 
capacity development on the local level.


      The Project “Achieving Land Degradation Neutrality Targets of Georgia 
through Restoration and Sustainable Management of Degraded Pasturelands” is 
initiated by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of 
Georgia and is financed by Global Environment Facility (GEF). The project is 
implemented by Food and Agriculture Organization. An executive organization 
is the Regional Environmental Centre for the Caucasus (REC Caucasus). 
Project partner - CENN.
