1,500 gray wolves remain. Idaho wants to kill off most of them.

Only around 1,500 gray wolves remain in the state of Idaho.
That is a shockingly small number — and should be a wake-up call for
officials to protect this precious species. Instead, lawmakers are
determined to use this opportunity to wipe wolves permanently off the face
of the Earth by pushing a bill that would allow hunters to kill more than
1,000 of the last wolves. That's more than 90% of these animals' dwindling
population. Even worse, state law would allow each individual hunter to kill
an unlimited number of these animals, using any canine-murdering methods
they desire.
Republicans in Idaho are able to potentially exterminate
all wolves because Donald J. Trump helped them out. He did everything he
could to push wolves off of the Endangered Species Act list of protected
animals, weaken regulations, and encourage hunters. That means President Joe
Biden has the power to reverse Trump's mess and save this species — but only
if he acts now. The situation is getting more dire all over the country as
politicians in Montana, South Dakota, and other areas take aim at these
creatures. Tell the Biden administration to immediately relist gray wolves
as endangered under the Endangered Species Act and restore full protections
to keep them alive!
Thank you,
Miranda
