Wild animals shouldn't still be suffering in circuses. It's time
to ban them in the U.S.

The life of a wild animal in a circus is anything but fun:
they're confined to cages, denied socialization, and forced to perform
unnatural behaviors for screaming crowds. While many U.S. states have
implemented their own laws to regulate circuses, it's clear that patchwork
system is not enough — it's time to take this fight to save animals to the
federal level. That's why we're urging Congress to prohibit traveling
circuses and exhibitions from keeping wild animals, such as lions, tigers,
and elephants, by passing the Traveling Exotic Animal and Public Safety
Protection Act (TEAPSPA).
Wild animals have been used in circuses for decades, but
that doesn't make it right. Research shows that circuses can never provide
what these animals need in order to be physically and psychologically
healthy. On top of that, circuses have resulted in countless serious
dangerous incidents, including the deaths of trainers and even injuries to
members of the public. Wild animals shouldn't still be suffering in
circuses. Sign the petition to tell members of Congress they must ban
circuses from using wild animals!
Thank you,
Miranda

P.S. Torturing wild animals should never be considered a
form of entertainment. It's time to ban their use in circuses throughout the
United States.
