       საქართველოს კლიმატის პროგრამა - ევროკავშირის მხარდაჭერით CENN გურიის, 
იმერეთის, რაჭა-ლეჩხუმისა და კახეთის რეგიონებში

      ახალ პროექტს იწყებს

Action Program

      in Guria, Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi

      and Kakheti Regions

      მოხარულები ვართ, გაცნობოთ, რომ CENN-მა 2021 წლის იანვრიდან, 
ევროკავშირის მხარდაჭერით, ოთხ რეგიონულ პარტნიორ ორგანიზაციასთან ერთად, 
დაიწყო ახალი პროექტის - საქართველოს კლიმატის პროგრამა - განხორციელება.


      პროექტი მიზნად ისახავს კლიმატის ცვლილების წინააღმდეგ ბრძოლაში 
სამოქალაქო საზოგადოების როლის გაძლიერებას, თანამონაწილეობრივი პროცესის 
ხელშეწყობისა და  სახელმწიფო და საზოგადოებრივ ორგანიზაციებს შორის ნდობისა და 
თანამშრომლობის ჩამოყალიბების გზით.


      CENN საქართველოს კლიმატის პროგრამას მომდევნო 4 წლის განმავლობაში, 
პარტნიორ ორგანიზაციებთან - ახალგაზრდა პედაგოგთა კავშირი (YPU), ჭიათურელთა 
კავშირი (ACU), რაჭა-ლეჩხუმისა და ქვემო სვანეთის აგროტურიზმის განვითრების 
ასოციაცია (RLS-ADA) და კახეთის რეგიონული განვითრების ფონდი (KRDF) - ერთად 4 
სამიზნე რეგიონში (გურია, იმერეთი, რაჭა-ლეჩხუმი და კახეთი) ადამიანის 
უფლებებზე დამყარებული მიდგომით განახორციელებს.


      28 იანვარს, CENN-ის აღმასრულებელმა დირექტორმა, ნანა ჯანაშიამ და 
პროექტის გუნდმა, საქართველოს გარემოს დაცვისა და სოფლის მეურნეობის 
სამინისტროს  წარმომადგენლებს - ნინო თხილავას, სამინისტროს  გარემოსა და 
კლიმატის ცვლილების დეპარტამენტის პირველადი სტრუქტურული ერთეულის 
ხელმძღვანელს, მაია ჯავახიშვილს, გარემოსა და კლიმატის ცვლილების დეპარტამენტის 
უფროსის მოადგილეს, მაია ცხვარაძეს, იმავე დეპარტამენტის კლიმატის ცვლილების 
სამმართველოს უფროსის მოვალეობის შემსრულებელს და მარინა მაკაროვას, წყლის 
რესურსების მართვის სამმართველოს უფროსს -  ონლაინ რეჟიმში, გააცნეს პროექტის 
მიზნები და აქტივობები. შეხვედრის დროს, ასევე, განხილული იყო პროექტსა და 
სამინისტროს შორის თანამშრომლობის შესაძლებლობები.


      შეხვედრის ფარგლებში, მონაწილეებმა განიხილეს სამიზნე რეგიონებში 
არსებული გამოწვევები კლიმატის ცვლილების, სამოქალაქო საზოგადოების როლის, 
გარემოსა და ადამიანის ჯანმრთელობის დაცვის მიმართულებით.


      CENN-ისა და სამინისტროს წარმომადგენლებმა ერთმანეთს გაუზიარეს 
ინფორმაცია მიმდინარე ინიციატივების, საქმიანობებისა და არსებული საჭიროებების 
შესახებ. შეხვედრის დროს ხაზი გაესვა სამინისტროსა და პროექტს შორის ეფექტიანი 
და მჭიდრო თანამშრომლობის აუცილებლობას.


      CENN, ევროკავშირის მიერ მხარდაჭერილი საქართველოს კლიმატის პროგრამის 
ფარგლებში, აქტიურად გააგრძელებს თანამშრომლობას კერძო, საჯარო და 
არასამთავრობო სექტორების წარმომადგენლებთან და ხელს შეუწყობს სექტორებს შორის 
წარმატებული სამუშაო პრაქტიკის განვითარებას კლიმატის ცვლილების სფეროში.


      „საქართველოს კლიმატის პროგრამა“-ს ევროკავშირის ფინანსური მხარდაჭერით 
ახორციელებს CENN, კახეთის რეგიონული განვითრების ფონდთან (KRDF), ჭიათურელთა 
კავშირთან (ACU), რაჭა-ლეჩხუმისა და ქვემო სვანეთის აგროტურიზმის განვითრების 
ასოციაცისთან (RLS-ADA) და ახალგაზრდა პედაგოგთა კავშირთან (YPU) 
თანამშრომლობით. პროექტის სამიზნე მუნიციპალიტეტებია: გურჯაანი, საგარეჯო, 
ახმეტა, ზესტაფონი, ტყიბული, ჭიათურა, ლანჩხუთი, ოზურგეთი, ონი და ამბროლაური.
     We are pleased to announce that, CENN with the support of the European 
Union, together with four local partner organizations, launched a new 
project - Georgia Climate Action Program (GEO-CAP).


      The main goal of the project is to strengthen the role of CSOs in 
tackling climate change (CC) via promoting the participatory process and 
building trust and collaboration between state and non-state actors.


      CENN will implement the GEO-CAP over the next 4 years, together with 
partner organizations – Kakheti Regional Development Foundation (KRDF), 
Association of the Chiaturians Union (ACU) Racha-Lechkhumi and Low Svaneti 
Agrotourism Development Association (RLS-ADA) and Young Pedagogues’ Union 
(YPU) -  in 4 target regions (Guria, Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi, and Kakheti) 
with the Human Rights-Based Approach based on human rights.


      On January 28, Director Nana Janashia, CENN Executive and project team 
held an online meeting with the representatives of the Ministry of 
Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia -  Nino Tkhilava Head of 
Environment and Climate Change Department, Maia Javakhishvili, Deputy Head 
of the above noted department, Maia Tskhvaradze, Acting Head of the Climate 
Change Division of the same department and Marina Makarova, Head of Water 
Resources Management Division - to introduce the project goals, activities, 
and future partnership opportunities.


      During the meeting, participants discussed the challenges of the 
target regions in terms of climate change, the role of civil society, the 
environment, and human health.


      Representatives of CENN and the Ministry shared information among each 
other on various ongoing initiatives, activities, and existing needs. During 
the meeting, was emphasized the importance of effective and close 
cooperation between the Ministry and the project.


      CENN, within the framework of the EU supported GEO-CAP, will continue 
to actively cooperate with the representatives of the private, public, and 
civil society sectors and will contribute to the development of successful 
close cooperation practices between the sectors and institutions.


      The European Union supported Georgia Climate Action Program (GEO-CAP) 
is implemented by CENN together with the Kakheti Regional Development Fund 
(KRDF), the Chiatura Union (ACU), the Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti 
Agrotourism Development Association (RLS-ADA), and the Young Pedagogue’s 
Union (YPU). The target municipalities of the project are Gurjaani, 
Sagarejo, Akhmeta, Zestaponi, Tkibuli, Chiatura, Lanchkhuti, Ozurgeti, Oni, 
and Ambrolauri.
