There's a new issue of The Ecological Citizen, #4/1, out!
Get it at
https://ecologicalcitizen.net/issue.php?i=Vol+4+No+1&submit=Read+the+new+issue
This issue concerns Earth–human relationships: moving away from the
dysfunctional and abusive modes that have for so long dominated how humans
relate to the Earth and its other creatures, towards the caring and
nurturing modes which have always provided a poignant counterpoint of what
might have been, and still could be.
There is lots to see and read in this issue. There’s quite a bit of
wonderful art; and even the advertisements, (for which we receive no
payment), are interesting.
Considerable time could be spent looking at the Friends’ websites. Try a few
of them!
Among the many fascinating articles is one by Luke Plotica dealing with the
necessity of individual action, along with political action, an interview
with Doug Peacock (a prototype of the character George Washington Hayduke
in Edward Abbey’s novel The Monkey Wrench Gang), Herman Daly’s response to
an ecosocialist critique, and many more.
