Doctors in Italy are sending emotional appeals to
the world -- their hospitals have turned into war zones in the fight against
coronavirus.

We urgently need to slow the spread of the disease
and fight for free treatment and vaccines for all.

Can you chip in $1 to fight coronavirus and help
protect those most vulnerable?

Nurses and doctors in Italy are forced to decide who will live
and who will die. Ventilators have become like gold -- and there simply aren’t
enough for everyone who needs one.

This worst-case scenario could happen everywhere -- unless we
slow the spread of the disease.

The virus will advance without mercy if we let corporations get
away with trying to make a quick buck out of this crisis. From refusing to
pay sick leave to putting up prices on critical supplies -- corporations
have run wild. And we are paying the price.

Can you chip in $1 so we can go to battle for free testing and
treatment, sick leave for gig and part-time workers, and an end to price
gouging on critical supplies?

Yes, I'll chip in $1 to fight corporations trying to make a
quick buck from the coronavirus.

Tens of thousands of SumOfUs members have come together to
demand that gig workers get paid sick leave -- and your pressure is working:
Uber, Lyft, Hermes, and now Amazon have announced they’re offering sick pay
to drivers who’ve been diagnosed with coronavirus or placed into quarantine.

But too many companies and restaurants are still forcing
employees to make tough choices: come to work when you’re sick or get fired.

We know what we need to do:

a.. Push governments to offer free testing even for uninsured
people, and demand pharmaceutical companies develop free vaccines and
treatment;
b.. Target gig-economy employers to ensure sick leave and paid
time off for all;
c.. Stopping price-gouging for critical supplies like hand
sanitizer and medical masks on websites like eBay and Amazon.
A new virus like this tests our humanity like nothing else. In
these moments of crisis we need to come together and take care of the most
vulnerable.

Nobody should have to choose between their basic costs of living
and the health of their family or community. We’re going to work so that no
one has to. If you chip in today, we’ll get straight to it.

Donating just takes a moment -- use Paypal or your card.

Please, can you chip in $1 to help the most vulnerable fight
against coronavirus?

Please stay healthy and let's beat this together!

Thanks for all that you do,
Anne and the team at SumOfUs
