Tigers, wolf cubs, and pangolins are captured and sold into wildlife markets to be butchered, eaten, or boiled alive. It’s horrific -- and now, it's suspected the global wildlife trade was the source of the Covid-19 outbreak! But, there's never been more momentum to shut this trade down. China's banned its wildlife trade and the UN biodiversity chief just called for a global ban on wildlife markets. So, let’s rally 1 million voices and urge the G20 to end this cruel trade and protect humanity at the same time. Sign now!

Dear friends,
Animals like tigers, wolf cubs, and pangolins, are routinely captured from the wild, crammed into cages, and sold in wildlife markets -- to be butchered, eaten, or boiled alive.
The global wildlife trade is a stain on our collective conscience -- and now it’s thought to be the source of the Covid-19 outbreak that has killed hundreds of thousands of people across the world!
But, there has never been more momentum to shut this deadly trade down! China has just done it, Vietnam is considering it, and the UN biodiversity chief called for a global ban on wildlife markets to protect us from future pandemics!
So, let’s join the call and show leaders there is HUGE public support to end this cruel trade! Once we reach 1 million, we’ll take our voices directly to the G20 and call for the leadership we desperately need. Sign now!
Let’s stop the deadly wildlife trade!
The multibillion-dollar wildlife trade is driving the extinction of thousands of species and responsible for some of the most horrific animal rights abuses on the planet.
And now we’re seeing the impact of this exploitation of wildlife on humanity. Experts warn wildlife markets are a “ticking time bomb” for an even more lethal epidemic!
But this could be our chance to finally shut the global wildlife trade down. A huge coalition of organisations is rallying behind this call. Let’s help make it massive and urge the G20 to publicly commit to ending this deadly trade and protecting humanity at the same time. Sign now!
Let’s stop the deadly wildlife trade!
Our movement has stood up for wildlife time and time again, with a deep understanding that we are part of our natural world, not distinct from it. Imagine if what came out of this crisis was a chance to slow down extinction, stop animal rights abuses, and protect us all from future pandemics. We’d be so, so proud.
With hope and determination,
Sarah, Mike, Chris, Bert, and the rest of the Avaaz team.
